He discusses the establishment of the Boston National Historical Park; the sites that are part of the park; the efforts of Congressman Joe Moakley to acquire funding for these sites; Moakley’s relationship with John Burchill, the late superintendent of the Boston National Historical Park; and how historic preservation has progressed and regressed during recent decades.
