Sheila Burgess, a former member of Congressman Moakley’s staff, reflects on her time working for the congressman in his district office and on his re-election campaigns. She goes on to talk about his final years in office, including setting up the Moakley Foundation, his illness, and death in 2001. She ends the interview with a reflection on his ongoing relevance and his lasting legacy.
