Letter from Richard Scanlan of the Tobacco Institute to New York Assembly Member Pete Grannis regarding their stance on fire-safe cigarette legislation, 3/5/1984
The Tobacco Institute sent a variation of this letter to members of state legislatures that were considering fire-safe cigarette standards for their state. A member of Grannis's staff forwarded the letter to Congressman Moakley.
